As a Vice President of Wealth Management at Realized, James assists clients in creating real estate portfolios to manage and defer their taxes, while maximizing their return given a certain level of risk.
James has deep experience in both the financial services and real estate industries, with a heavy focus on active and passive investments. He has spent the past several years in roles within a reputable family office, as well as portfolio and PE companies, where he was involved in a variety of leadership roles. In addition to direct and indirect investments across the globe, prior to portfolio management, James spent years as a research analyst covering several different asset types. James graduated from SMU and holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 82 licenses.
In his free time, he enjoys watching the financial and real estate markets, working on fixer-upper home projects with family and friends, and playing golf and sand volleyball. James is a big believer in building relationships and providing his clients with a vision and path to reach their goals.
