The individual or company that packages and markets Tenant-In-Common (TIC) properties. The sponsor is in charge of a variety of different events including: finding suitable property, performing the necessary due diligence, arranging financing, overseeing sales of TIC interest either as a security or real estate, arranging for property management services, sending monthly disbursements to TIC co-owners, providing periodic summary property reports to owners, and managing the disposition of the property and distribution of proceeds.
