Abbington Place Apartments DST is a 1031 exchange eligible Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) that owns a 360-unit, Class B+ multifamily community in west Greensboro. Constructed from 1995 to 1997, the property is situated on 37.5 acres of land and features 413,400 SF of net rentable area. The unit mix includes 96 one-bedroom units, 216 two-bedroom units, and 48 three-bedroom units, with an average unit size of 1,148 square feet.

Once dominated by textile manufacturing, the Piedmont Triad region, which includes the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point, has grown to include a diversified economy that includes banking, financial, medical and high-tech industrial jobs. The Piedmont Triad region is anchored by the University of North Carolina Greensboro, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Greensboro, and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem.
