Meet Al
Al DiNicola brings decades of experience in real estate sales, development, financing, asset management, and alternative investments. Throughout his career, he has worked with investors and developers on projects representing more than $3 billion in real estate sales and development. Today, Al focuses on Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs), 1031 exchanges, and alternative real estate investment strategies, helping investors evaluate opportunities consistent with their financial objectives and long-term goals.
Prior to entering the securitized real estate investment industry, Al held executive positions with WCI and The Bonita Bay Group in Southwest Florida, specializing in commercial and residential real estate development. His background also includes working with private and institutional lenders, structuring financing solutions, and overseeing distressed real estate assets. Through Crown Capital Group, he participated in asset management activities involving a $4 billion portfolio of bank-owned real estate.
Al is co-author of DST Wealth Building, an educational guide covering DSTs, 1031 exchanges, 1033 exchanges, and Opportunity Zones. He also serves as editor of DSTNews.org, a resource dedicated to real estate investment education. A nationally recognized trainer and consultant, Al has served as a certified instructor for the National Association of Home Builders and as a Director for the National Association of Realtors.
A licensed Florida real estate broker, Al was inducted into the Naples Board of Realtors Hall of Fame in 2016. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation and is a Registered Representative of Realized Financial, Inc., a FINRA member broker-dealer. Al is also affiliated with Fiduciary Capital Management, a registered investment advisory firm.
